I am a fully qualified musician whom has had 22 years experience of teaching the Flute, in schools and in homes across the country and with the British forces in Germany. I have a 100% examination pass rate. I started playing the flute when I was 8 years old, and later started playing the Piano. I attended Lawnside School in Great Malvern and studied at the Birmingham school of music under Bernard Herman (BBC northern dance band) and achieved grade 8 by 15 years old and advanced certificate shortly afterwards. I played with the Worcestershire \county youth orchestra, the Birmingham Youth Chamber orchestra and the Birmingham Youth Symphony orchestra. Won the Cheltenham Music Festival Woodwind section and other Music Festivals. Went on to teach in Schools and perform in the Uk and BritishForces schools in Germany.
I can offer students:
· One to One tuition in the pupils own home in Flute or Piano
· Half hourly lessons (or one hour depending on age and standard) at competitive rates.
· Time allowed for Aural and theory in each lesson.
· Grades are worked towards although these are entirely optional.
· Tuition in Flute from beginners to grade 8 and performance standard.

Book me to perform
As a performer as well as a tutor of the Flute I am available to perform as a soloist with Piano/keyboard accompaniment for occasions such as weddings etc. I work with a contact microphone which adds effects to the flute which is truly electric!
I have an extensive repertiore and can work alongside the client to produce a musical program fitting for any occasion. My rates vary and this depends on how long the client wishes to have me perform.
