My name is Trudi Garth and I am one of the leading passionate and professional Flute and Piano teachers and performers in Coventry and Rugby with 24yrs experience teaching and performing in schools and venues accross the UK and in Europe. I offer expert flute and Piano lessons in Coventry, Rugby, Leamington and throughout the whole Warwickshire County.

My Tuition
A friendly and enthusiastic teacher, I proudly instruct anybody and everybody who wishes to play the flute or Piano, with all teaching conducted in a relaxed, fun and rewarding environment. All ages and previous abilities are more than welcome, so whether you're a first time beginner or experienced musician looking to brush up on your skills, I will be happy to teach you today. I hold and enhanced CRB Check and my pupils have a 100% pass rate at distinction.
Flute Tuition in Coventry and Rugby
As a Flute Specialist I provide highly rewarding and cost effective music lessons in Coventry and Rugby for all pupils who desire to play this distinctive and calming but exciting instrument. All lessons are given on a one to one basis for the very best results and your progress is monitored and advanced with beneficial advice along the way. Learn for fun or for examinations, its up to you. I can teach from my studio in Coventry or at the students own home in or around the Rugby area.
When teaching, I aim to cover a variety of topics. An average lesson covers:
• Musical theory How to work out scales, rhythmic analysis & note value evaluation, and time signatures.
• Listening to music Discussion of different musical styles & of different instruments in short excerpts.
• Musical expression & interpretation Creating different tone/moods to suit the piece, and realise the composer’s intention.
• Aural skills Singing & pitching notes correctly, listening to tonality as well as cadences and different tonal centres
Piano lessons are available for beginners of all ages. Tuition is available to all, and offered at reasonable and affordable rates.
